Product Description

DOWSIL SE 9157 Conformal Coating is a one-part, translucent, medium-viscosity silicone conformal coating for electronic assemblies. It cures at room temperature without added solvents and reaches a typical tack-free condition in 6 minutes at 25 deg C. A 5,675 cP viscosity supports syringe, brush, flow-coating, and spray application. After cure, the soft elastomer has a typical elongation of 180% and dielectric strength of 27 kV/mm. Applications include rigid and flexible circuit boards, connectors, sensors, and spot protection on components. Mild heat up to 60 deg C can accelerate cure for in-line processing.
