LOCTITE EA 460
Harmonization Code : 3214.10.00 | Putty and other mastics | Resin cements, caulking compounds and other mastics

Main features
- Low-Odor Low-Bloom Bonding
- Low-Viscosity Precision Application
- Rapid Multi-Substrate Fixture
Product Description
LOCTITE 460 is a one-part, low-viscosity alkoxyethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive for rapid bonding of metals, plastics and elastomers. The transparent, colorless-to-straw liquid cures with atmospheric humidity and has a typical cone-and-plate viscosity of 25 to 55 mPa s at 25 deg C. Low odor and low blooming are useful where vapor control is difficult, while fixture develops in less than 5 seconds on several substrates under the stated 22 deg C and 50% relative-humidity conditions. Applications include bonding ABS, PVC, polycarbonate, rubber, wood, paper, leather and fabric.
Key features
- Low odor and bloom: The alkoxyethyl cyanoacrylate formulation limits odor and visible blooming where vapor control is difficult.
- Low-viscosity application: Typical cone-and-plate viscosity is 25 to 55 mPa s at 25 deg C.
- Rapid substrate fixture: Fixture develops in less than 5 seconds on ABS, nitrile rubber, neoprene, phenolic and paper under the stated conditions.
Applications
Applications include rapid bonding of metals, plastics and elastomers, plus porous or absorbent materials such as wood, paper, leather and fabric.
