Product Description
LOCTITE EA 9696.030 AERO is a 0.030 lb/sf modified epoxy film adhesive for tough metal-to-metal and honeycomb bonding in aerospace structures. The film cures for 60 to 90 minutes between 107 and 129 deg C and provides at least 60 days of open assembly time at 25 deg C or 30 days at 32 deg C. Balanced flow supports both metal and honeycomb assembly, while the cured adhesive supports service to 121 deg C under the stated shear-strength criterion. Applications include structural panels, sandwich constructions and sound-suppression assemblies.
