PERMABOND 947

PERMABOND 947 is a single-component alkoxyethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive combining low odor and reduced blooming with a higher-viscosity profile for larger close-fitting gaps. The colorless adhesive has a typical viscosity of 900 to 1,500 mPa s at 25 deg C and a maximum gap fill of 0.25 mm. Typical handling time on steel is 20 to 30 seconds, while aluminum, ABS, PVC and phenolic resin are typically 10 to 15 seconds. Cured steel lap-shear strength is typically 16 to 20 N/mm^2 under ISO 4587. Applications include plastics, metals and elastomers where low odor, reduced fogging and greater gap fill are useful.
