Product Description

Permabond ET5428 is a two-part thixotropic epoxy adhesive formulated for tough, high-strength composite assembly bonding. Its controlled-flow consistency fills gaps up to 5 mm, while the 2:1 mix ratio and 10-20 minute pot life at 23 deg C support measured mixing or cartridge dispensing. Handling strength is reached in 30-45 minutes, and full cure develops in 24-48 hours at 23 deg C or 1 hour at 60 deg C. Typical cured performance includes 28-34 N/mm2 shear strength on mild steel and 150-250 N/25 mm peel strength on aluminum.
