Product Description
Sikaflex P2G is a one-component, cold-applied polyurethane adhesive for direct-glazed automotive glass replacement. The black, high-viscosity material is primerless to glass when used within the documented Sika preparation process and provides a 15-minute open time at 23 deg C and 50% relative humidity. After cure, typical properties include 5 MPa tensile strength, 400% elongation, and 3 MPa tensile lap-shear strength. It is intended for professional mobile and in-shop windshield installation, with bead geometry, substrate preparation, environmental conditions, and vehicle-specific process controls maintained throughout the replacement procedure.
