3M High Temperature Acrylic Adhesive 100 is a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive system used in transfer tapes for bonding metals and high-surface-energy plastics. It combines solvent resistance with shear resistance at elevated temperatures. In transfer-tape constructions, short-term temperature resistance extends to 232 deg C for minutes or hours, while longer exposures can reach 149 deg C for days or weeks. The adhesive system has low outgassing and low levels of leachable chlorides. Transfer-tape constructions pair it with different adhesive thicknesses and release liners for electronics, aerospace, and die-cutting applications.
