PERMABOND UV620
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- Optically Clear Glass Bonding
- Yellowing-Resistant Cured Appearance
- Rapid Low-Power Lamp Cure
Product Description
Permabond UV620 is a single-part, optically clear methacrylate adhesive for UV-curing glass, crystal, and decorative assemblies. The colorless liquid has a typical viscosity of 2,200 to 2,900 mPa s at 25 deg C and is formulated to resist yellowing for appearance-sensitive bonds. Typical fixture time is 5 seconds with a 4 mW/cm^2 battery lamp and 1 second with a 30 W/cm^2 light guide, subject to lamp output and substrate transmission. The cured material has a refractive index above 1.490, typical tensile strength of 16 N/mm^2, and elongation above 80%.
Key features
- Optically Clear Bondline: Supports appearance-sensitive glass and crystal assemblies with a cured refractive index above 1.490.
- Yellowing-Resistant Appearance: Resists yellowing in appearance-sensitive decorative assemblies.
- Rapid Optically Clear Cure: Fixtures in 5 seconds with a 4 mW/cm^2 battery lamp under stated conditions.
Applications
Applications include bonding glass, crystal, glass furniture, decorative ornaments, and other appearance-sensitive glass objects.
