PERMABOND UV7141
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- Shadow-Area Anaerobic Cure
- Second-Scale UV Fixture
- High-Transmittance Glass Bonding
Product Description
Permabond UV7141 is a colorless, dual-cure methacrylate adhesive that combines rapid UV fixture with secondary anaerobic cure in shadowed areas. It is intended for ceramic-coated glass, mirrors, glass, and metal assemblies where light cannot reach the complete bondline. Typical UV fixture time ranges from 1 to 20 seconds under the listed lamp conditions, followed by anaerobic handling strength in 30 to 60 minutes and working strength in 3 to 6 hours. The cured adhesive provides 14 to 17 N/mm^2 steel-to-glass tensile strength, more than 98% light transmittance, and 60 to 70 Shore D hardness.
Key features
- Shadow-Area Anaerobic Cure: Secondary anaerobic cure develops in bondline areas not reached by UV light.
- Second-Scale UV Fixture: Typical UV fixture time is 1 to 20 seconds under the listed lamp conditions.
- High-Transmittance Glass Bonding: The cured adhesive provides more than 98% light transmittance.
Applications
Applications include bonding ceramic-coated glass, mirrors, glass, and metal where UV fixture and secondary anaerobic cure are required.
